Welcome to my website. In a way this is a peek inside my head, a collection of eclectic stuff, sometimes reflecting who I am, at other times an imbalanced view of my brain at work. You’ll find the menus a great source of general information occasionally updated, and a Posts page (link here) where you’ll find what I’m currently doing or thinking about. I’ve generally disabled comments (this isn’t social media after all), but occasionally I may seek feedback, just don’t expect it.
You’ll find this site interesting if you’re interested in things complex, mechanical or electrical, maybe ride motorcycles and like travelling. Trail riding has been a passion of mine for 50 years, but you won’t find much of that here as I also look after a TRF website and image gallery where most of my trail riding photos live.
Me? As of 2025 I’m a 72 year old married bloke living in the UK near the coast. I gained a degree in electronic engineering and a career that started in that arena, but later I moved largely to IT (engineering and management), working for large organisations in pharma and education, with much time spent on interesting projects, things like the Tornado fighter plane, Viagra and finally working for Canterbury Cathedral. I’m now retired and doing whatever I fancy. This website reflects a lot of the latter!
