Our shower has been neglected for quite a few years, but in the end the cracked grout and peeling sealant was just getting too gross to ignore, so tools out, supplies bought and work started. Of course, and as usual, a lot of thinking preceded any actual work, but once a plan was conceived it took about 2 weeks to get it all done. Initially it was just a regrout and reseal job, but when a couple of tiles fell away the project scope drift happened! Anyway, that was all sorted, and with plans for a complete bathroom refit now in place as well, the pressure was off for a perfect, decade lasting job. So, tiles were glued back on, old grout ground back, new grout spread on, allowed to dry, cleaned up and then remaining gaps re-silicone sealed. Now we just wait a couple of days to be sure all the products have hardened and then we’ll be out of the tiny ‘family’ shower and back into our larger en-suite one again. Can’t wait!
