Today I updated all my Apple devices (apart from the Mac (it’s too old)) to iOS26 – Apple’s latest bling human interface. I like the multi-windows on the iPad; feels a bit like an old PC, just needs multi-screens to do it like a Mac. My phone looks a bit cooler, but the 3D lock screen doesn’t work, and the face camera button is still too easy to press, but the rest seems ok so far. Tomorrow it’s a look at Preview (and a new battery for the phone). My iPhone now says:
