Ergonomically so much better, too. Much less neck and eye strain.
Littler and Larger
Jane and her PC have been struggling to work together recently. The PC, an oldish MS Surface, has been reluctant to get on with things, having occasional hissy fits and spitting out its dummy, so Jane has been looking for a replacement, but what? On the surface, the Surface should be fine – it’s compact, mobile, 11” touch-screen and got a built in web-cam. But all those things are not important to how Jane wants to work now, so time for a rethink. After lots of that, Jane plumped for a bigger (24”) hi-res screen and a smaller mini-PC with more RAM and SSD. At a total cost of less than £250 Jane now has a slick work partner that is much easier to look at, much faster at working, silent and runs the latest software. Compare that with a new Surface at £750-ish, and we have a winner! I still hate Windows, but that’s another story…
