Been a bit distracted recently as I’ve been helping a son move out to his new flat. I’ve not been doing the big moving stuff thank goodness, just the necessary plumbing and assembly stuff. Some people leave their place in a dire state, just covered with a very light veneer of ‘it looks ok’ when the place is viewed. Each time a small curtain is lifted another broken this or propped up that or soggy widget is revealed. At least I have a reasonable tool kit, so I stand a chance of fixing these things. The latest is a shower door where the runner wheels are jumping out of the grooves. Looks like a rework of the mechanism is needed, so I’ve bought a few stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers to attempt a repair. More on that in the next blog….
What is this thing lurking below the kitchen units? It’s a heater. Non-working, of course, but still wired and plumbed-in! Now removed.
