Today was an extension of yesterday, still investigating the water softener (labelled Dualit, actually a Harvey) under the sink. I found some help on YouTube, so chased that down to check and clean things out and do a couple of regenerations. The water testing kit indicated that the softness had improved, but until the hot water tank has been run through with new water we won’t really know – showers are the ultimate test!
