What a fantastic race that was!! Excitement and drama and great racing filled the second full race of the 2026 season in Shanghai today. The racing was unusually close and was edge of the seat stuff. The result was superb and reflected a true race. Antonelli won his first GP ever at 19 years old, Russell came in second for a Mercedes 1-2 and extend his lead in the championship, but it was Hamilton’s third place that filled me with joy – my hero is getting back on top again in his Ferrari. He was happy. I was happy! it should be a great season this year with these new spec cars and a revitalised collection of drivers. Can’t wait.
